Blogs In The Classroom.
This specific blog is built for teachers K-12 who want to provide students with individual blogs. It is very easy to create classroom discussions, practice writing and computer skills, reflect on learning, create an e-portfolio and communicate efficiently using blogs. Classroom's, especially high school classrooms, would benefit from having blogs. It would also allow students to express their own creativity in a healthy and social way.

I think this is a good idea as well. Like you said it will allow students to get on and post ideas and talk to the teacher as well as other students. It also creates a safe way to communicate within the classroom.
